TRISKELION has around 125 employees and the TRISKELION division is still based in Zeist. However, mid 2020, this division will relocate to Utrecht. DUCARES is already located in Utrecht. DUCARES B.V. and TRISKELION B.V. have been merged as of 1 January 2020.

Your field

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic application manager for the business applications that support our business process.

Your activities will consist of monitoring incidents and change requests and coordinating application lifecycle projects. In addition, you will coordinate projects aimed at the further optimization of the level of support for business processes.

You are the first point of contact for colleagues who work in our laboratories and support departments. You will stay in close contact with our application suppliers, who are responsible for the maintenance and management of our application landscape.

Your tasks

  • Performing operational management tasks, such as license management, user management and authorization management, and ensuring the proper functioning of the applications
  • Ensuring, in a project-based manner, that the operation, design and configuration of the business applications continue to match the changing business processes
  • Coordinating application lifecycle projects in collaboration with internal colleagues and external software suppliers
  • Advising colleagues on how to make optimal use of the business applications and supporting colleagues in solving problems that they encounter here
  • Identifying structural problems, setting out improvement proposals and realizing these in consultation with colleagues and the external parties involved
  • Further development of application interfaces and application integration with partners in order to further automate collaboration by means of digital messaging
  • Acting as a focal point between Ducares colleagues and external parties involved, who carry out the technical management of applications and infrastructure

Your qualities

  • You have at least a higher vocational studies level of thinking and working
  • You are able to operate independently and self-manage
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in translating business requirements into process descriptions
  • Experience in setting up URS and implementation, transition and test plans
  • Experience with information security in relation to software applications
  • Experience with ISO 17025/GLP or equivalent in a laboratory environment is an advantage
  • Experience with Application Services Library (ASL) is an advantage
  • Communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • You are accurate, enterprising and have great problem-solving skills
  • Punctual when it comes to keeping documentation on the application landscape up to date
  • Able to take on a substantive coordinating role in complex problem analyses
  • Able to work under time pressure and take an extra step if necessary
  • You have a positive, energetic mindset and like to inspire your colleagues

  • iLes from iVention; this is our Laboratory Information Management System
  • iProva from Infoland; this is our quality system in which SOPs are recorded, amongst other things
  • AFAS; this is our ERP system in which financial processes are secured, amongst other things
  • SOFOS360 from ITIS; this is our system for the management of hazardous substances
  • IUCLID and CHESAR from ECHA; this is our system for risk assessments
  • Office365/Sharepoint from Microsoft; this is our central collection point for documents
  • ESAS from Triskelion; this is our digital e-archiving environment
